Welcome to Garden City Church!
We are a diverse collective of imperfect humans who are loved more deeply than we can fathom. If you’re looking for a no-pressure place to find out more about God, we would be honored if you would join us for a service.
Can I attend if I’m … me?
Whatever fear you have about not being accepted – divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, transgender, atheist, skeptic – everyone is welcome.
We are currently offering one service at 10 AM. Those wishing to join us from home, may do so during our live-stream available on our Facebook page. Raise your hands, sing loud, hum along, move around, or just sit and listen. It’s up to you!
Where do I go when I arrive?
If the church parking lot is full, head to the overflow parking at the Akron Women’s City Club right next door. Once you’re inside our building, the Garden City Kids check-in is located in the foyer. The Worship Center is up the stairs from the foyer. We have a handicap accessible entrance as well.
What if I have children?
We love babies and kids! We have a great team of caring, background-checked volunteers to serve your family. For babies, we have nursery volunteers to support you and provide a break for you if you need. But if you’d rather keep your baby with you, that’s just fine! For all children through fifth grade, we have awesome volunteers available to teach and play with your children downstairs during both services. Click here for more information.
How can I be added to the Garden City email list?
We regularly send emails to the entire congregation with special announcements, and important information and updates. If you’d like to be added to our email list, please send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line, “Mailing List”.
